I’ve always been an avid fan of romance books, so one day I decided it was time to chuck in my former job as a journalist, and do what I loved instead. Now you can usually find me in my home town of Wellington, New Zealand, sitting in the corner of a cafe and typing up my latest love story.
This blog covers everything from daily life to news on upcoming releases. If you want to get an alert when a new book is out, and any special deals underway, click here to sign up to the newsletter.
Books are published in both paperback and eBook form. Click here to see my current catalogue on Amazon, although you can also get it on iBooks, Nook, and Kobo.
I love to hang out with other reader/writers online.

And me again 🙂 Thank you so much for following my blog, Libby! When I looked at your blog and saw that you’re living in Wellington I almost couldn’t believe it – at the beginning of 2016 I’ll be moving all the way from Switzerland down to Wellington to start a PhD at Victoria University! I’m very excited and will be looking out for the lightning-fast writer in one of those cafés… 🙂

Oh wonderful, you’ll love Vic! I studied there, but a little while ago now. The coffee is better in the city though 😉

Hey there. Love your site. Certainly will be a follower. Really happy you enjoyed “The Girl on The Train”. It’s a great book with a marvelous ending. My work is writing about the STEM professions but I am an avid reader. Some day, I hope to publish in addition to blogs. Take care. Bob

Hi, Libby!
I just wanted to thank you for reading and commenting on my first one-act, and also for following my blog! If you could give me some pointers on how to become a published author, such as yourself, it would be very much appreciated!
Thanks again!

Oh thank you! I’m quite new to self-publishing myself, so I’m not sure I’m entirely an expert 😉 But exactly what you’re doing is the right start – blogging, getting to know people, getting to know the industry. Then decide if you prefer traditional publishing or self-publishing. There’s good and bad bits to both, but I’m a control freak, so indie all the way!

You’re already more successful than I am though so I’ll take what I can get! 🙂 Thanks anyway!

I was lucky enough to be published by Hachette Australia two months ago, and it will be released in UK/Commonwealth on 3rd December. It was a long slog though, and there are twenty versions on my laptop – and that’s before the publisher’s editor even saw it (I Belong to No One).
